The Body Trilogy
A three-part cycle of experimental films investigating the body as a site of transformation and imposed meaning. The trilogy moves from the visceral interiority of bodily change, through the clinical gaze of medical imaging, to the formal geometry that divides bodies and landscapes alike. Across all three films, the body resists the categories imposed upon it.
I. Softer Skin
Macro cinematography renders skin as abstract landscape, tracing a strange metamorphosis.
II. Incursion In Progress
Appropriated medical footage investigates how clinical observation imposes identity on the body's universal interior.
III. Meridian In Progress
Landscape and bodily geometry collide, revealing how binary divisions function identically across bodies and terrain.
